Summary: When cables intersect with each other, high-voltage cables should be located below low-voltage cables. If one of the cables passes through a conduit for protection or is separated by a partition within 1m before and after the intersection, the allowable distance is 0.25m.

safety requirements
When cables intersect with each other, high-voltage cables should be located below low-voltage cables. If one of the cables passes through a conduit for protection or is separated by a partition within 1m before and after the intersection, the allowable distance is 0.25m.
When cables are close to or intersect with thermal pipelines, if insulation measures are taken, the small distances for parallel and intersecting should be 0.5m and 0.25m, respectively.
When cables intersect with railways or roads, they should be protected by conduit, and the protective conduit should extend 2 meters beyond the track or road surface.
4. The distance between the cable and the building foundation should ensure that the cable is buried outside the building's water system; When cables are introduced into buildings, they should be protected by conduit, and the protective conduit should also extend beyond the building's drainage system.
5. The cable buried directly underground should be 0.25-0.5m away from the grounding of the general grounding device; The burial depth of cables directly buried underground should generally not be less than 0.7m and should be buried under the frozen soil layer.
Protective measures
With the rapid development of buried power cable laying projects, higher requirements have been put forward for cable protection. Cable protection sleeves are made of polyethylene PE and steel pipes through sandblasting and shot blasting pre-treatment, immersion or coating, and heating and curing processes. It is the most commonly used electrical insulation tube for protecting wires and cables. Due to its excellent insulation performance, high chemical stability, non rusting, non aging, and adaptability to harsh environments, it has been widely used.
The use of cable protection sleeves to protect cables can achieve the following advantages: 1. Good corrosion resistance, long service life, and can be used in humid and saline alkali areas. 2. Flame retardant and heat-resistant, can be used for a long time at a high temperature of 130 degrees without deformation, and does not burn when exposed to fire. 3. High strength and rigidity. Used for direct burial under the roadway without the need for a concrete protective layer, it can accelerate the construction progress of cable projects. 4. Cable protection sleeves, whether made of pipes or fittings, have flexibility and can resist damage caused by external pressure and foundation settlement. 5. Has good resistance to external signal interference. 6. The inner wall is smooth and does not scratch the cable. The design adopts a plug-in connection method for easy installation and connection. Adding rubber sealing rings at the joint not only adapts to thermal expansion and contraction, but also prevents mud and sand from entering.
Storage method
If cables need to be stored for a long time, the following considerations should be made based on the placement of the cables:
1. Under the eaves. Standard LAN cables can only be used when not directly exposed to sunlight or high temperatures, and it is recommended to use pipelines.
2. On the exterior wall. Avoid direct sunlight on the wall and human damage.
3. In a pipeline (made of plastic or metal). If in a pipeline, pay attention to the damage of plastic pipes and the thermal conductivity of metal pipes.
4. Suspended applications/overhead cables. Considering the sagging and pressure of the cable, which bundling method is planned to be used, and whether the cable is directly exposed to sunlight.
5. Directly laying in underground cable trenches has a limited control range. The installation of cable trenches should be checked regularly for dryness or moisture levels.
6. Underground pipelines. For future upgrades, cable replacement, and isolation from surface pressure and surrounding environment, installing auxiliary pipelines for isolation is a better method. But don't expect the pipeline to remain dry, as this will affect the selection of cable types.
